The NEST for Opportunity and Innovation Association is a non-governmental organization
intended to be a safe and nurturing space for vulnerable communities in Romania.
Together we reduce social discrepancies, campaign for education and promote inclusion
digital.

The NEST story is born at Christmas in 2020. Before we knew we would be an association, we knew that
4 little girls from the top of the mountain would enjoy some big presents under the tree and we thought we would
let’s do it like never before. Then I heard about grandma Suzana – she needed
eye drops, a radio, and someone to shake the covers off the bed. Then more and more children –
pizza, school bags, toys, and a kind word. We were interested in some of them at school, then
we donated laptops and learning programs.

The story of NEST is the story of ordinary people, who one day, on schedule, made their
time to do good.
Our small good became big! 4 years later, with over 50 gifts made, from the heart of
40 donors, the NEST Association emerged. And together we make a nest of safety, opportunity,
innovation as we know it. Our certainty is that next year will be better than this one
from before, always is.

Our first project “Your school needs you” keeps at-risk children in school
school dropout.
